Bra Sizing Guide
How to Measure for a Bra
-
Band Size: Measure snugly around your ribcage directly under your bust. Round to the nearest whole number.
-
Bust Size: Measure loosely around the fullest part of your bust.
-
Calculate Cup Size: Subtract your band measurement from your bust measurement. Each inch difference equals one cup size.

Bra Fitting Tips:
- The band should be snug but comfortable - you should be able to fit two fingers underneath
- The band should sit level all the way around your body
- Cups should fully contain your breast tissue with no spillage or gaping
- The centre gore (between cups) should lie flat against your sternum
- Straps should stay in place without digging in or slipping off
- Get professionally fitted every 6-12 months as your size can change
Knickers Fitting Tips:
- Choose based on hip measurement for the most accurate fit
- Different styles (brief, thong, boyshort) may fit differently in the same size
- Seamless styles are ideal under fitted clothing
- Natural fabrics like cotton are best for everyday wear
